The main contraindications of virtual reality are the following:

• Photosensitive epilepsy : People with photosensitive epilepsy may be particularly sensitive to visual stimuli such as rapid movements or flashing lights. Virtual reality use is possible but the duration of exposure is adapted and under medical supervision.
• Severe cognitive impairment : People with advanced dementia or severe cognitive impairment may have difficulty understanding or interacting with virtual environments, which can lead to confusion, agitation, or anxiety.
• Certain psychotic disorders : Immersive VR environments can induce or accentuate symptoms of dissociation from reality.

After validating the project with all stakeholders, we send you the virtual reality equipment and create your online accesses. On a date defined together, we organize a day of deployment (which consists of connecting the equipment to the internet and checking that it is working properly) and training of professionals. Of course, we support you every step of the way!

Our training is carried out in two stages:

• A first theoretical part (1 hour) with a detailed presentation of the equipment and our interface.
• A second part of practice (1h30) organized by pairs of professionals. It is possible to make several slots depending on the number of professionals to be trained. This avoids monopolizing all the staff for half a day or a whole day.

We will mainly discuss with the person appointed as the project referent (health executive, therapist, manager, etc.) for the organization of the implementation of the project. An exchange will be necessary beforehand with your IT department or any person in charge of the IT system in your structure.
