Virtual reality at the service of rehabilitation

"We use H'ability at the Capucins centre with both adult and child patients. It is a fun way to involve patients in their rehabilitation. They like the games, they are immersive and allow them to work on meaningful activities (supermarket, dishwashing, music, etc.). Once the session has been scheduled, the patient can work independently, it's intuitive. Visual feedback allows the patient's session to be seen live. We have seen people in pain mobilize their limbs, even though they did not do so outside of virtual reality: we are therefore going to integrate it into the rehabilitation program. It is also very interesting for patients with traumatological or neurology sequelae. We are satisfied with this system and look forward to seeing it evolve."
