This year, H'ability was present at the Rééduca exhibition, which took place in Paris Porte de Versailles, from October 13 to 15, 2022.

What is the Salon Rééduca?

This exhibition is the essential event for rehabilitation and physiotherapy, with the aim of providing a rich professional experience. Exchanges and sharing of experiences, demonstrations, practical workshops, forums... Here is the course of this exhibition during 3 days.

Each year, exhibitors gather to present their technologies and latest innovations to rehabilitation and physical therapy professionals, making this event friendly and rewarding. This year, more than 100 exhibitors presented their solutions, with over 40 different sectors of activity. In total, more than 4000 visitors came to this event.

Thus, several conferences with influencers in the field of rehabilitation were present, such as Major Mouvement, the physiotherapist star of social networks.

The workshops offered new manipulative techniques and exercises to improve daily life, expand skills, exchange and pass on skills. The multidisciplinary conversations involved the different physical therapists, surgeons and physicians present, with patients around a pathology. The aim was to value the work of the health professional in his or her care chain. The forums were based on the discovery of the latest innovations and functionalities of equipment, while testing the products. Finally, sports demos were performed by high-level athletes, accompanied by their physiotherapist, with analysis and feedback.

How can our solution support you in your daily work as a therapist?

The use of virtual reality is more and more promoted and integrated in conventional rehabilitation. This allows the patient to be immersed in a fictitious world and to focus on the new worlds that surround him/her, which also helps to fight against the kinesiophobia that some patients may suffer from.

This new gamified and playful rehabilitation gives motivation to patients in order to recover their motor skills. H'ability offers its virtual reality solution for patients suffering from motor disorders of the upper limbs, cognitive disorders and balance disorders. Autonomous and ultraportable, our virtual reality headset can be used everywhere: in care centers, in offices, on technical platforms, etc.

H'ability has freed itself from all controllers and sensors, which makes the virtual reality helmet accessible to a greater number of patients, such as the elderly or people with grip problems. We then find the technology of handtracking, which is a real asset for patients, since the hands are directly modeled and transcribed into the helmet, reproducing all movements in real time.

During this exhibition, we noticed that health professionals (liberal physiotherapists, salaried employees or even rehabilitation doctors) were interested innew technologies in order to innovate in rehabilitation. The world of virtual reality never ceases to evolve and amaze, even in the medical field!
