Virtual Reality Rehabilitation

After several months of procedures and trials in a hospital setting, we are delighted to announce a new key milestone for H’ability: our virtual reality rehabilitation solution has been selected by UniHA, the largest purchasing center for public hospitals in France! This partnership as part of the call for tenders “Clinical Immersive Reality Solution Dedicated to Functional and Vestibular Assessments and Rehabilitation” represents a huge recognition for our work and for our commitment to innovation in healthcare.

In rehabilitation, pain management is a major challenge for patients and healthcare professionals. Opioids, drugs that act on the areas of the brain responsible for controlling pain, are often prescribed during PRM care to act and fight against it. However, overuse can lead to unwanted side effects or addiction. Thus, virtual reality is emerging as an innovative solution to help reduce opioid use in adults with chronic and acute pain.

We are delighted to announce our next participation in the Rééduca 2023 Fair! This rehabilitation and physiotherapy event will take place from 5 to 7 October 2023 in Paris – Portes de Versailles. We are looking forward to presenting our innovative and fun solution, which combines the use of virtual reality and rehabilitation.

The entire H’ability team is proud to unveil version 2.0 of its interface dedicated to rehabilitation. The result of close collaboration with our partners, the Jacques Calvé Center of the Hopale Foundation, the CRRF COS Pasteur 2, the Angers University Hospital and the CRF les Capucins, H’ability 2.0 represents a significant advance in therapeutic practices and patient support.
