This partnership as part of the call for tenders “Clinical Immersive Reality Solution Dedicated to Functional and Vestibular Assessments and Rehabilitation” represents a huge recognition for our work and for our commitment to innovation in healthcare.

Fighting Kinesiophobia with Virtual Reality

In rehabilitation, pain management is a major challenge for patients and healthcare professionals. Opioids, drugs that act on the areas of the brain responsible for controlling pain, are often prescribed during PRM care to act and fight against it. However, overuse can lead to unwanted side effects or addiction. Thus, virtual reality is emerging as an innovative solution to help reduce opioid use in adults with chronic and acute pain.
